No — you don’t need a referral to book at Woodland Chiropractic. You can schedule directly online or by calling (319) 382-2963. Most patients come to us on their own, whether they’re dealing with an injury, want to improve athletic performance, or just want to feel better.
Both use thin needles, but the approach is different. Dry needling is a Western, evidence-based technique targeting trigger points in muscles to relieve pain and improve movement — it’s rooted in anatomy and sports medicine. Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practice focused on energy pathways. At Woodland Chiropractic, Dr. Sami uses dry needling as part of a sports rehab approach to help athletes and active people recover faster.
Yes — both! Dr. Sami is a former collegiate athlete with a focus in sports chiropractic, so she’s especially passionate about working with athletes of all levels, from high school players to weekend warriors to marathon runners. She also provides comprehensive chiropractic care for families, including children and adults seeking wellness care.
Woodland Chiropractic is currently an out-of-network provider. Many patients use HSA/FSA funds, and we’re happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Contact us and we’ll help you figure out your options.
We offer chiropractic adjustments, sports rehabilitation, dry needling, cupping therapy, IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization), and wellness care. Every treatment plan is personalized to your body and goals — whether that’s recovering from an injury, improving performance, or maintaining long-term health.
We’re located at 1085 Liberty Way, Studio 125, inside Salons & Studios in North Liberty, IA 52317. We serve patients from North Liberty, Coralville, Tiffin, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids and the surrounding area.
